I dont really care where the shifter is, I just want a full console. I don't know if you can get f150 with full console and column shift? That is what my f350 was and I liked that. I like my console shift on the f150 too but it does take some space from the console.

 

That's a good point. When my dad had an Excursion it was a full (huge) console and a column shifter. That really left a ton of room for the console, at least as I remember it

Yes, the offer the full console with column shifter. I was looking at one and liked it but didn't like the chrome and pano. It just has a nice big open tray where the shifter would be.

 

Yes, my '15 was this way, full console w/column shift. The only difference in the console was an extra cubby with a cool false bottom, where the shifter would be. But overall I would still take the console shifter over the cubby, which is what my '18 has.

Exactly. If you're going to keep a baby in there, you need to do the ventilation mod - drill a half dozen 1/2" holes in each side of the console below the lid.

 

Agreed, another really good suggestion is keeping a can opener in the truck for the Alpo.
