let me give it a shot. To start I would make sure your phone is upgraded to it's more recent version (Settings, About Phone and make sure it is up to date).

If it is on the phone tell it to forget the Sync connection. After that pull the negative wire on the battery terminal and wait about 5 minutes before putting it back on. Re-pair the phone and see if that helps. If not I would have the radio looked at by Ford. I've seen some weird things happen. With my Nexus 6 and touchscreen stereo (non-Sony) in my truck I've never had a problem.

Good Luck.

Steve

Hi dstrat1,

Which system do you have: http://owner.ford.com/how-tos/sync-t...c-version.html Let me know, and I'll assist.

I have the exact same system and problem. I have an iPad that I use for Bluetooth music. The call function is turned off on it. My phone pairs perfectly for calls, but the iPad will not automatically reconnect to the Bluetooth audio. If I let it fail and then manually pair it, it works. This started with the most recent Sync update for me. I have deleted and repaired the iPad, and everything is updated to most recent versions.

I have the MyFord Touch and navigation system. Thanks for any help you can offer.

Hi pb65stang,

Try soft resetting the iPad. Press and hold the POWER & HOME button. Let go of both once you see an apple appear. Allow the iPad to power on and connect to SYNC.

Let me know if this helps.

Thanks for the response. My truck is at the dealer now for a few days, but when I get it back I will reset the iPad and see if it pairs.

I have my touch and my ipod pairs but will not play at all no matter what I do. I gave up and started using a USB stick to listen to music. What a B to try and get 2600 songs off iTunes on to the USB stick....... I have a very small 128 gig stick and I can throw stuff into the console without harm. Easy work around for me, took my ipod off sync all together,,,,

Kind of off topic but does anyone complain about the quality of your voice in a Bluetooth call?

People can hear every little thing in my truck and will ask me "what's that noise"? Ford should add a muffle to the microphone
