The Navik is pretty sweet but at $450, you're right, it's very pricey. Though I am tempted, as it would allow adding of the F-250's high-mount camera.

Anyone that's interested, I talked to them today and the "2016 - 2018 FORD F-150 (SYNC 3) 360 CAMERA SYSTEM VIDEO INTEGRATION INTERFACE, SKU: Ford-N360-F150" is still not available. They said it should be out at the end of July.

I will say, I had a hard time getting information out of them. For instance, the navigation in motion override... the driver is punching some button to disable/enable it, but they didn't want to say exactly what he was doing.

What I understood from them is:

- Nav override / use while in motion is automatic.
- Enabling of front and rear cams while in motion is also automatic (you use the regular cam button on dash to turn cameras on/off).
- Turning on the AUX video input requires pressing & holding the volume button.

...though I could be mistaken.

Well, if you don't have a gooseneck or 5th wheeler, you can watch the trash fly around and then out of the bed. At least one guy I know who bought a SuperDuty does with the 3rd brake camera.

For the switch it would be cool if we could have the bedlight switch to activate the CHMSL when the bed lights are powered on vs a toggle switch.

I bought the Naviks harness that does exactly this but is switchable by holding the volume button. Also works while the vehicle is in motion. What’s nice is is that it also has a switchable 12v lead that is only on when the vehicle is on that works very well for things like a camera.

I wired mine to a rca coax video receiver that comminicates wireless to a wireless transmitter camera feed on the back of my travel trailer. Works very well.
