Default Automatic headlight issues alpharex

Hey guys...haven’t been on the forums for quite some time. I’m having some issues with my aftermarket alpharex nova series headlights and wondering what is going on.

My drivers side headlight keeps having the outter white led light surround keeps going out.
Alpharex is standing by their product and sent me a new one but I’m still having the same issue...

It normally works correctly when I have my headlights manually turned on....

When I have my truck set on automatic headlights. The led surround goes out and so does my orange grille lights.

Is there something I’m missing? Is there a blown fuse for the automatic sensors etc?? The actual headlight beam works fine.

🤔🤔🤔

I’m gonna guess you have a wiring issue.

I’ve actually tried to contact AlphaRex multiple times, multiple ways and have never gotten a response. Still looking for a solution

My new Novas are doing the same thing. Anyone figure out a fix yet? Alpharex advises me to turn off my drl but that’s not an option for my truck.

I’ve still never heard back from Alpha. Email, phone and text was left for technical support. I will never purchase another set from them. But I just unhooked my grill lights. My loss I guess

Ok. If they don’t want to fix the issue I’ll just box them back up and send them back. Too expensive not to work right. I contacted them prior to purchase and they assured me that they were completely plug and play. They obviously are not.

Try removing the grille marker lights. Have the same issue and when I called them, that was their suggestion for troubleshooting the issue. I actually had not mentioned the grille lights yet, but as I described the issue I was asked if I had grille lights. I also have my DRL set to parking lights and did not use the extra harness. Never got around to testing it... honey do list has priority right now
