Nice,
Thanks for the update. I will try this on my 2018 and report back with how it works.

Gordy- the 5 trucks that were mentioned had 1=fast set at factory. That's why we noticed a change were you wouldn't since sensor response was already set on 0=slow.
One less thing to change.

Edit- Don't why some are set on slow or fast. The 5 trucks were: XLT, Lariats, KR, Patty

End of the day. Who cares.
I have 35% on my windshield, when they install they map it, measure and cut on the outside than remove and install on the inside, the tint doesn’t cover the sensor, which as you stated is located on the mirror. Nothing foolish about it, it’s a nice improvement and it looks sharp

Doesn't seem to be any rhyme or reason to what setting is set, I have a whole bunch of AsBuilts to look at, as soon as you think you see a pattern, it gets shot down.
I have everything except Raptors to compare to. No pattern what so ever.

What is an Ambient Temp/Speed Pack?? The AsBuilts seem to correlate to whether they have this--So far.

I looked at that, I don't have it. The other side of this is AsBuilts aren't always accurate either. It shows my truck as not having a locking rear axle, yet I have it.

I had 15 early 2015's that were built in 2014, 1 had the headlight delay turned on, the other 14 were off, yet I had 15 2018's, all of them had it turned on, they are XL and XLT's, two are Lariats.

The 5 trucks that I changed to 0=slow, ran our VINs and we all showed that we had the Ambient Temp/Speed Pack and sensor set on 1=fast. Now you don't have it and was set on 0=slow, however I'm finding some VINs without Light/Speed Pack set on1=fast. Like you mentioned, no reason for what VINs get it.

The only thing that is known is 0= slow adds 13 sec. delay. to the ones set on 1=fast.

the system in my 17 year old toyota worked much better. annoying. ive never had the lights cut off though...only on when they don't need to.
Same exact issue with my 2018. Very annoying.

This happens to me in the middle of the day with the sun at its brightest point. If the dash is in the shade, the lights activate. Way too sensitive.

Welcome to the forum dock- Check and see if your sensor is set on 1=fast or 0=slow. Check your truck AsBuilt data or if you do FORScan check the values with #9 post.
