Advice needed
New here so apologize if this isn’t the right spot to ask this ….
looking for a very low mileage used truck, so ordering exactly what I want isn’t option at this point. So trying to figure out if some of the factory “packages” fit my needs
truck used as secondary work truck. Daily will keep 2-400 lbs of parts/equipment in bed.once a year I’ll drive from TX to see Canada during heat of summer and pull a trailer with a about 5k total rolling weight on about a 6k mile road trip ,occasionally might pull our big trailer a very short distance at about 20mph …
Requirements
crew cab
4x4
locking rear
bucket seats w big center console(not sure what that’s actually called)
3.5 engine
trailer brake control
power driver seat
Is there any factory pkg that meets all those? I’ve gotten different answers from dealerships I’ve been to. Have found several that seem to have all of it, but not interested in leather and sunroof ect.
stx seems to have all except power seats
thanks for any help

Go to Ford.com and pretend you are building a truck. You will find out what you can get, but remember, the market is very scarce right now. I had to order my truck because i wanted a Lariat with no moonroof. etc.
XLT with 302A Pkg, Sport Pkg, and Max Tow Pkg should do it. The 302A gets you the power seats and more. The Sport Pkg has the Sport Bucket Seats and center console which GM does not offer. Max Tow Pkg is actually overkill for you but it gets you everything you need and then some for your larger trailer. XLT is just above the STX. You will start to slightly drop in carrying capacity if you move up to a Lariat or above as those variations have more options that add up in vehicle weight, which reduces weight carrying capacities. I took my XLT from Wisconsin to Colorado Rockies in June and this was the most pleasurable vehicle that I ever made the trip in.

• 7-pin Wiring Harness; Includes 7-Pin-to-4-Pin Adapter
• 36 Gallon Fuel tank (NA with 3.5L PowerBoost Full Hybrid V6 or 3.0L Diesel Engine
• Class IV Trailer Hitch Receiver

• Pro Trailer Backup Assist – NA on XL Standard; Requires Tow Technology on XL High
• Smart Trailer Tow Connector (Includes BLIS® with Trailer Tow Coverage Where BLIS® is Available)
• Integrated Trailer Brake Controller
• Upgraded Rear Bumper
It does not show a larger transmission cooler but I believe it does from other members on here. Ford does not offer a larger engine radiator but they come factory with a good standard radiator. The 36 gallon tank is very useful. That is something I wish my truck had.
As you have already mentioned in your initial posting, the 3.5 Ecoboost is your best engine choice as it has much better low end torque compared to the 5.0 that needs a lot of revs to get the job done.

If someone made changes to the truck which a good number are tweaked by the owners, that info will not be on the window sticker of course.
