He is looking used, and posting in the 2015-2020 section, pretending to build a 2021 isnt' going to help him, options and features all over are different

I can't imagine there are any used 2021's already available that don't have serious problems (whether you know or not) or a higher-than-new price tag.

follow up… is there options out there for bigger radiator, trans cooler ect?
You'll be good there if you get the Trailer Tow Package (53A) or Max Tow (53C).

As stated above, a good place to start is an XLT 302A.

Also be aware that you can add a trailer brake controller pretty easily so don't pass over a truck just because that is missing.

The 5.0 would do what you require also. Probably a 2.7 would but you have to be careful of payload on them

Actually drove one with the 5.0 It’d had been years since I’d driven a gasoline motor . Was underwhelmed…. Enjoyed the 3.5, was kind of fun

side note, what the world is the backup control?? Heard about it but honestly thought they were screwing with me when they were telling me about it

I don't know, what is "the backup control"?

Who was telling you about it?

Was a **** right above the trailer brake control . Guy said it helps you back up the trailer . Maybe I misunderstood, but he said it was “pretty useful “

i may be calling it by the wrong name

Have a follow up question, and again, I apologize if this is wrong spot to ask .

Will be putting a full front end replacement on it . Think it weighs 500ish lbs . Would like to put a leveling kit up front to combat the extra weight, and retain the original stance as much as possible. Anybody know which one would be appropriate? Guessing 2.5 in?

2-2.5” should keep the stance. But a level and extra 500lb nose is probably gonna make a noticeable impact on ride quality. What replacement are you looking at?

Adding 500 lbs to the front of a half ton truck sounds like a bad idea

You’re not wrong, but hitting a deer in Kansas at night going 70 is way worse …,
