It'll fit.... kinda like the seller telling me that the Tuxedo Black was only available on Lariats in 2015 even though I had a tuxedo black XLT when I was buying the tailgate!

 

really?i have agate black,,might be the tailgate was tuxedo black,,so i just buy this tailgate what ever the seller says?are everything work fine?like the wire same.just pluged?

 

Just tell them you have a 2015 bed on your truck

 

a little hesitant about the fit ,, so need to make sure it fits before spend moneys,,if sure fits,,i will go buyed,,

Yes, swap the handle and tailgate wiring - then you know everything will mate up. The tailgate itself is the same for all trucks 15-20 (minus the stamped "F150" on '18+) but the differences start to show in trim levels.....I.E a Lariat tailgate handle will not work on a XL/XLT truck because they are electric vs the manual pull handles on the lower trim vehicles.

As stated before, get the correct rollers for a truck equipped with the tailgate step also, as they are not the same as a regular tailgate.

 

i find this was 2015 platinum,,just missing the camera,,n i have 2020 lariat,,so will fine just swap the tailgate handle right Sir?

 

Personally I would still swap the wiring harness in the tailgate also - you know what you have now works, so it would be cheap insurance by swapping everything out.

 

Thats rights,,i will swap the tailgate handle with the harness,,thanks bro
