Adding reverse sensing to 2019 xlt
I wonder if @2016BoostedGreyGoose had to swap his when he did all his mods. I really want to keep the factory aspect of the truck. my dealer ordered the truck without it and didn't ask me at all. when it came in I was already stuck with it as-is. if this goes well i'd like to get some other things added. hopefully @Livnitup knows, if anyone will it's him.
They took reverse sensing out of the 302A package for 2019... Why? We will never know... Thankfully I caught this and checked that box when I ordered mine...
I'm willing to bet there are a lot of dealers out there that are used to just checking 302A that are in for a rude surprise...

The first thing would be to plug into your truck with FORScan and see if it lists the PAM. If not, you need to get a different BCM that has the integrated PAM and have the dealership do the PATS programming on it to your truck. Once you get (or verify you already have) the BCM with integrated PAM then the wiring can begin and you can buy a 3-day pass here for $22 for the Service Manual and print out every wiring diagram and/or connector diagram you need: https://www.motorcraftservice.com/Purchase/ViewProduct
After you get the wiring done then the FORScan programming starts and I can help you once you get to that point.

I have verified that I do not have the PAM listed in ForScan. I will try to get the dealer to do the BCM swap, they didn't seem really keen on doing it when I was asking about parts on Friday. the wiring diagrams will be awesome. I have been working with other members to get some things ironed out and they have all been great. you sir are a wealth of information and I appreciate your time. I have seen a few places online that claim to sell factory manuals for around $180, but I couldn't verify if it is the genuine article.

did you ever end up getting this done..I’m looking at getting an aftermarket bumper with the sensors holes pre cut and was wondering how easy this would be..guess I should check with Forscan first to see if I’ve got the PAM.

Double bump on this thread. Curious how much the new BCM cost you. I am in a similar situation on my '17 STX. Dealer installed them, but they are not integrated and I do not have a PAM. What confuses me is that they were able to install and wire them up, and they audibly work but don't really exist.
