Livinitup, did you determine what we should see when the system is active prior to calibration? I want to make sure it is actually on before running the calibration procedure.

Is the PID you mentioned earlier the best way to see if the system is activating?

If I'm reading the latest developments correctly that would mean as long as I have C9012 pins 11-14 populated in the connector then I could possibly add LKA to my XLT... is that right?

Unknown. We don't know if those pins dead end somewhere or not. Pull your mirror connector and see if yours are populated and start there. THe mirror is now a sub $200 investment, you would be the first XLT to try I believe.

I don't think I could replicate what's ahead of you since mine is already installed. I believe once you make all the FORScan changes and press your LKS button (or test switch) you'll get some message on the cluster screen prompting you about "camera malfunction or LKS malfunction" until the calibration is done. If you don't get any message on the screen when pressing the button then I'd do the PID but if you do get the message then there's no point. However, you may get the warning message as soon as the FORScan changes are done...I'm just not sure.

Well that was short lived excitement....I don't have the twist mount bracket for the mirror. Mine is held on with the traditional mirror mount.

Edit: looking through the connectors list it would appear that I have a c9039 for my mirror anyway...oh well

[QUOTE=Livnitup;5468030]Ok guys, I dove into this today and tested on my own truck and these are all the module values I believe you need:

PSCM 730-02-01 xxxx x1xx xxxx - 1=LKS enabled, 0=LKS disabled
IPMA 706-01-01 1F8x xxxx xxxx - Lane Departure Warning & Lane Keeping Assist enabled
IPC 720-02-01 xxEx xxxx xxxx Lane Keeping System present in Settings

** After the FORScan changes and correct wiring are done you can calibrate the IPMA Camera in FORScan under wrench icon

Big news guys! The above Forscan changes did the trick. Now when I entered those and I contact Pin 9 to a ground, the metal on the mirror base works, it brings up the icon and touching it again makes it go away just like in Great White's video. I just need my switch and I think am good to go with calibration. I may try tomorrow just to make sure it will calibrate by turning it on manually.

As always, thanks so much for the help from both of you guys. Livinitup is a Forscan genius.

That's awesome! Good job.

And Livnitup is definitely a wizard with these trucks.

Hey Livinitup, I ran the calibration on the way to work this morning. A couple of things.

1) I think I screwed it up because when I initiated it, it turned off the icon and gave me the front camera warning and I could not get the icon to come back so I thought it didn't work. I closed Forscan and then as I was driving to work the icon pops back up with the green arrows working.

2) What is supposed to happen if you drift. Do the arrows green arrows mean that it is reading the lines for the lanes? I let it drift a couple of times and nothing happened. I am going to try and recalibrate this afternoon.
