Default 2019 prices increase on all trims.

Looks like the Limited get the largest increase.
  • XL: goes up by $450
  • XLT: goes up by $860
  • Lariat: goes up by $685
  • King Ranch: goes up by $460
  • Raptor Ext & Crew: go up by $2,180
  • Platinum: goes up by $435
  • Limited: goes up by $5,775

Ford thinks it must be. Plus you get the rear dual exhaust in the bumper.

Aluminum cost has generally been on the increase in the last 3 years. However it's nearly same price as it was 5 years ago.

Yes, tariffs cost money but it's a few dollars per truck. Not the ~$1,000 or so for the price increase.

As an example of the cost of steel tariffs, we're currently building a 65,000 SF 3-story building for a school and it's a steel structure. Total impact of tariffs on the $32,000,000 budget (steel structure, plumbing, electrical) was $150,000.

Am I crazy but

2018 SCrew 5.5 bed was the most expensive, then 6.5 then 8
2019 Screw 6.5 bed is the most expensive, then 5.5 then 8

am i crazy or did i notice this switch

It's not a few dollars, the XL increases are most likely right on the money. The others are due to engine differences and trim additions.

Here is a thought... use US steel and aluminum to avoid the tariffs.

I wonder if these increases are based off of the latest prices of the 2018, or the original prices? When I bought mine in Feb some newer builds were about $250 more base price than ones a couple months older

I agree, I don't see this all falling on tariffs, Ford announced plans to cut production on most of it's cars before the tariffs were even discussed.
