2019 prices increase on all trims.
Tariffs or not, the U.S. is still the largest IMPORTER of foreign in some cases state subsidized steel in the world with Canada being the largest exporter of steel into the U.S. among dozens of other countries.
In 2018 the U.S. imported 16.2 million metric tons of steel down a little from 2017.
The tariff game being played is hopefully a negotiating tactic to get subsidized foreign exporters to trade fairly and not destroy our domestic industries.
Far as Nucor it depends on what snap shot of time....stocks rise and fall sometimes due to supply and demand, unfair foreign competition and the stock market in general.
These liinks were from last Summer so we'll see what happens in the future.
