When the trucks go into the "awaiting shipment" phase and the estimated delivery date disappears, does it ever show up again with an updated date? I read the sticky on this and it doesn't seem like it does however I just wanted to confirm.

 

From my experience, once the estimate date disappears its in the final shipping yard

 

Picked my truck up today! Well worth the wait but I'm glad it's over! I'll get a pic soon.....
I ordered it on 15 Jun and it was delivered 14 Jul. Unfortunately I went on a planned vacation leaving on 15 Jul and couldn't get it until today (came home yesterday). But from order to deliver time was exactly 1 month.....pretty good!

So, what does it mean when your truck was in order processing yesterday and you get " No vehicle found" today.
Gonna take even longer to get my truck?

 

Congrats on your new truck! Pretty quick turn around on it too. My was ordered April 30th and it arrived at my dealer on June 16th. I picked it on on the 17th.

I have been extremely pleased with my truck and how I had optioned it out. I am also happy to say I have experienced none of the issues that people seem to rant about here's. However I had learned that my right rear tail light does not work and most likely hasn't worked since new. I noticed it when I walked behind the truck after getting out. Dealer says there is an open in the harness. Harness runs between the two tail lights. The harness is supposedly on back order.

How long should it take from the time my dealer placed my order until they get an order number for my truck?

 

Depends on the dealer, dealers that sell more trucks get priority. Some guys get thier vin in a week, I waited eight. You have to be patient!
