I will pay $3800 under invoice and possibly less if the rebates are better than they are now when the truck is delivered. I get the current or future rebates whichever are better.

I think those of us ordering are just very picky about what we want and that's why we did it. This was my first vehicle order. When I have my truck I'll let you know if I feel I would do it again, but I'm thinking this might be my way to do business from now on....
$3800 under invoice seems a bit suspicious, you sure it's not $3800 under MSRP?

How about I just tell you MSRP was $54,150. I will pay $46,887 total after the doc fees....The deal was I would pay invoice minus current rebates. The rebates totalled $2500 for most but I'm also retired military which gives me another $1000 rebate. I also told them I wanted the final price after doc fees to be that price and they agreed.....

Ok, that's not anywhere close to $3800 under invoice.

So what do you think invoice price is then?

ACC check somewhere like the Navy Federal or USAA car buying program, it will give you invoice.

My 16 XLT 302a FX4 MSRP was 51335, invoice was 47,765. I got another 5750 in rebates including military and a private cash offer. Now buying in CA kinda screwed me on tax but after my down payment I believe I did alright.

I appreciate the help, but I did the research to get the invoice price and it matched what the dealership told me perfectly. Not all F150's have the same rebates. I could have gotten more if I had gone with the 2.7L Ecoboost.
Anyway im happy with the purchase price and may get more rebates if there are better ones when the truck is delivered. But the intent of this thread isnt to debate price points. I think we should keep this thread on topic before a moderator forces it.

I ordered because, like my wife says, if you're going to pay that much for a truck, you need to get exactly what you want. It didn't hurt that they didn't have the color (magnetic) on the lot in a FX4 5.0. I liked the Ingot Silver, and they did have the one I liked, but it was missing 2 features (BLIS and Trailer Brakes) which was more than I was willing to do without. I could have done without the BLIS to start, but after reading the forum, I found out that's the only way to get LED taillights, so now I'm glad I ordered it (for my wife). Like someone already said, Waiting is the hardest part-Tom Petty.

I think that is why most order their truck and are ready to wait the 8-12 weeks.
It's the opposite here, I wanted the moonroof and most don't have it. Combine that with the tow mirrors and it gets harder to find.

It is so hard to find what you exactly want on the dealer lot, even with them searching. Here is Canada, I ordered my truck with everything I wanted. The only thing I did not get was the homelink. If you want the payload package, you have to stay with the basic 500A and then add on everything the 501A offers separately but you cant get the homelink. Oh well, I think I can live without that.
