Default is 2.7 ecoboost weak in acceleration?

I don't tow, I just bought XLT XTR for mostly highway driving in the winter and daily city driving. But maybe in the future tow lightly trailer once a year? That was why I choosed 2.7 ecoboost. Now I found acceleration is not good. Is it because of new truck? it only has 100km on it.

I also found the brake is not very good compared to my SUV. Is it normal? What do you think?

Thanks

Read your manual regarding proper break-in. Don't take it over 4000 RPM or tow a trailer within the first 3000 miles. Also, don't get that spirited gleam in your eye when you pull up next to the modified Audi A4 and try to beat him off the line. You'll be disappointed.

Flip it into Sport mode and double click the Traction Control button.....it will push you into the seat a ways.

I hope I came here earlier asking this question before I bought it.

I think you need to learn how to break in your truck. The answer to your question is No, it is not weak.

acceleration is based on what the user is used to.. some people will tell you its great.. some people will tell you it sucks.. it depends on what you are used to

Thanks Guys. My SUV is 2008 Acura MDX, 300hp. It is really responsive. The question is: is 3.5L faster than 2.7L? I don't tow, maybe once a year in the future.
