Here are a few of my initial gripes:

- The "Console" function, which is the Sync 3 pass through, looks like crap as it's being scaled down and doesn't fit the screen like it should. I'm hoping there's a fix for that somewhere, but I haven't found it yet. Might have to contact Phoenix about it.
- While the idea of a giant tablet/phone interface seems like a great idea, swiping up and down on the screen is incredibly awkward at that angle.
- The placement of the hazard/360/*** etc buttons at the top looks odd and the buttons are even angled a little further back than they should and the old "bottom" edge of the buttons now stands a little proud of the bezel when you're looking at it. I also don't like having a blank switch plate now, as they put 3 cutouts in so that they're covered for all models of truck. I may see about separating my Hazard/360 or TC/HDC switch if possible so that I have 3 actual switches.
- The temperature readout is still stuck in Celsius, regardless of what you set it to in the menu and the fact that it shows *F after the temp.
- The size of the black glass bezels around the screen looks a bit cheap, and the LCD panel is recessed far enough back from the glass that you can see a slight gap when looking at the right side from the driver's seat and can also tell that a sliver of the left side is being blocked by the black bezel.
- It would be really nice if they could split off the OEM GPS antenna and not need a secondary antenna stuck on the dash, especially considering all of the SYNC stuff is kept
- Touch sensitivity and processor speed isn't up to par with modern phones, but it isn't horrible either
- The backup camera acts a little weird when it activates. It starts to come up like the normal SYNC display for a second, then switches over to the Phoenix interface and display.

For the good:

- The fit and color match of the trim is quite good and it looks pretty darn close to stock
- The install was reasonable easy (despite a complete lack of instructions and really poor videos)
- The boot up (after initial boot) when getting in the truck is INCREDIBLY fast
Have you updated your unit to the most recent software that came out earlier this week? Sounds like your system is out of date based on your list. Everyone I've talked to says the sync pass through looks excellent.

Ordered 2/19, shipped 2/24. Not bad for supply from China, IMO.

If the car has park assist/self parking, Is that retained on screen

My Phoenix is supposed to show up tomorrow. I thought I saw a couple posts on this forum and the other F150 forum possibly that had instructions that somone posted on how to make the display lots more clear/sharp? I searched back a couple pages on this thread and found this:

For anyone that has this unit I discovered a setting while playing around that increased the sharpness of the display and improved overall image clarity 10 fold.
Go to:
Settings
Advanced (code is 8861 for Phoenix radios)
Then on the right menu scroll down till you see Light Soft Control. Turn that On.
Power Cycle unit
Now go to:
Settings
Then scroll left menu down till you see Color Set.
You now have two sliders. Brightness and Contrast. I tweaked the Brightness down a bit and then upped the Contrast.
You should notice a huge improvement.
Of note, you may get a new menu during this asking about Pairing, just x or skip it.

Is this all everyone is doing or is there some other set of instructions for anything else that I should be looking for to get this thing setup?

I just tried this out and it doesn't appear to do anything on the new Gen 3 model. I enabled the Light Soft Control, rebooted and went back to the settings menu but there were no new options there.

I also did both of the software updates today and there's no difference in the Console mode appearance. The media control buttons now appear above the image of the truck, however they got the function of the Tune+ and Tune- backwards.

Here's a shot of how the display looks after the update. The Console display looks way better in this pic for some reason than in real life. It's honestly embarrassing to look at in person and makes the whole thing look like crap when it's up.
