As far as I know, the visors mount to the top of the front of the roof via self tapping screws or what not. Lights could be wired through the roof as well, and ran down to ignition, headlight switch, or to a toggle switch.

I think these trucks look great with visors. I hope someday to get a lighted one.

I do believe that is how they are mounted and it means that if you don't like it you'll need to do some body work to remove the holes in the cab. That is the only thing I don't like about them. If you get one, you'll wan't to put some sealant around the screw holes to deter leaks and keep them from rusting. I have a friend who just ran the wire in though his drivers door, down inside the door seal, and into the fuse box to his running lights. Last summer I ran all his extra lights into a separate toggle switch on the dash for him so he had more control over them.

A lot of them mount with two way tape because people don't like drilling holes in their roof.

I Can't see two sided tape holding anything on at 70-75mph on the highway. Throw in High Winds on that day, and I think that would be a disaster for the guy tailgating behind you.
