Yes. Have you seen many emblems and moldings laying on the side of the road? That's what they're held on with on most cars. It's tough stuff, many times the paint comes off with it.

Yah but i wouldnt think thoughs would catch near a much air as the big sail on the front of the truck?

As Just-Call-me-Sean said, that stuff is amazingly tough. I have used it for emblems and it is all you can do to get it off anything. I would believe it would hold a visor on but at the price of visors I might put a few screws in for good measure.

Here is some. I just googled "two sided emblem tape" and came up with a few. Here is one place that sells some but many stores sell it so you can look around to find cheaper prices. Better yet, your local auto store might sell emblem tape.

Yeah but that tape isn't going to hold down a 40 pound air dam on the roof.

I researched around internet forums a bit and I read to many bad stories of self taping screws that start coming loose after awhile. Main consequence being is it starts rattling and/or scraping the paint underneath. The roof metal is quite thin and can't imagine self tapers holding forever. I'm sure some do but seems like a roll of the dice.
