Reviving the 93
**FINAL PICTURES FURTHER IN THE THREAD** PAGE 3 I THINK
I have always been a Ford fan, and have recently decided that I wanted to own the old body style truck again. I had certain criteria though. It had to be a short bed, regular cab, XLT with all the power goodies, V-8, automatic transmission. So I found this truck after a long search. It's a total due to it's mileage (218K at the time). This is the old truck the day I bought it from the auction:

So I drove it for a while, after bending the raggedy old front bumper back sort of straight, and tossing a junkyard bumper on the back. The A/C died of the black death, so I redid the entire A/C system, followed by dropping the front end and replacing everything. Truck now drives like a dream. A hurricane eases through, and a pine tree feels the need to crush the bed (missed the cab by inches). So the truck now gets a very straight blue bed put on the back. And I keep driving it. End up throwing a Transgo shift kit in the rebuilt AOD, and doing a complete tune up on the original 302. But the multi color is getting the best of me. I cant handle looking like I'm flat *** broke driving this "bomb" around. So phase 2 kicks in.

I am a fan of white, and really did like the lower green paint, so definitely sticking to the original paint scheme, pretty much.

And none of the pictures I have show it, but in the clear is a hint of green pearl. So we cant put the trucks old stuff back on, it would look retarded. So all new chrome and trim pieces are bought. The truck is actually shaping up nicely.

It'll be going in for a windshield Monday morning, and a spray in bedliner Friday morning. The 06 truck gets to rest. The 93 about to hit the streets again
Final finished product pictures to come soon.

Thanks. Its been a great truck, and I'm looking forward to having it back on the streets. The 4 days between windshield and bedliner gives me time to finish up the loose ends such as buffing tail lights, replacing all the bulbs, etc to make it look as best as it can. I wish the pics did better justice, but this coming week when the truck is outside on a sunny day, I'm going to take a few more pics.
