You said "Deader than a doornail"! Yes that's the item. Do a KOEO test! I asked for fuel pressure a couple of times & KOEO results more than that. You obviously have the situation under control. Please post the final outcome when you figure it out.

The only one here that's clairvoyant is "just call me sean"! The rest of us need more information before pulling rabbits out of our hats (or anyplace else)! I think I have a few extra mice & a golfer though.

If this gets me flammed or banned or whatever you call it, i dont care, a ford, you can go yourself there buddy, when someone ask you for help dont be a .

ok, for you people following along with this post, i went and started checking the truck today it is 7:13 pm saturday and here are my results,

i pulled the #1 spark plug and tested for fire, truck started and ran off 7 spark plugs, reinstalled the spark plug and tested, truck is running great, hooked up and performed KOEO and KOER tests. here are my results

KOEO
11-system test ok
14-PIP sensor erratic
33-EGR
KOER
21
46
33

Went and picked up new pip sensor, pulled the distributor to install new pip sensor and the gear is missing a tooth,

Now my question is where did the tooth go and how do i get it out?

Well, aren't we the little potty mouth! You seem like the type that would do better w/ 1 & 2 syllables anyway. My intent was not to rattle your cage or insult your intelligence, but let it not be said that I don't return compliments! You're a perfect example of what happens when someone starts skipping their ***hole's Anonymous meetings! At almost 2.5K posts, an occasional misspell might be expected. What's your excuse for lack of punctuation? Or did someone tell you "run on sentences" was about to become an olympic event & your in training! Or, are you always that lazy & rude(rhetorical)? That I was attempting to insult your intelligence would imply you providing something greater than a nerve bundle to insult. Now that you got your "codes" together, we can make some progress.................If I gave a **** anymore! But hang in there, there's plenty of people you have yet to p!ss on, that can't wait to help you! Note: A simple "I can't pull the codes at the moment. I'll post them as soon as I can!" anytime before the 3rd page of posts, would have avoided all this extra curricular B.S.. If I didn't like helping people w/ their engine troubles, I'd be somewhere else. As for "golfer", spell check did that for me. At least "it" has a sense of humor!

i couldnt give a rats *** less, the only reason i posted up my results is so that maybe someone having the same issues as me COULD ACTUALLY GET SOME HELP FROM SOMEONE WHO WASNT A jack***!

But i will figure it out, you cant bet your sorry *** on that one, and if im not banned before hand i will post up my results so that someone can get some use of the thread.

oh yeah, and before you say he replaced the pip sensor anyway, that was the only thing i havent replaced along side of tunning up the truck, then when i pulled the dist I FOUND the teeth busted up, like i have been saying i just wanted someone to give me a little confirm on that, and before you blowed a fn nut i asked a simple question and did i receive an answer? NO.
I mean come on dude, i didnt want to start a fight with you i just wanted a few ideas on what to look at and what could possibly be happening that maybe some of you had experienced before but obviously you are too he!! bent on starting an argument.

MY QUESTION politely: if the pip sensor was failing would the truck loose spark? I had to figure the answer out on my own. But thats all i wanted to know, i didnt sugar coat it, i didnt stutter, i didnt insult you i just was wondering for my own troubleshooting process.

Thanks but no thanks.
AT THIS TIME: i would like to think everyone who has went through this difficult process with me and who has provided some helpful information.

And also the three page happened because i got the truck running and thought that i had it fixed after about a month and a half of it working perfectly.

If this is your idea of an argument, you must be a "Liberal Democrat". Their forte is attacking the opponent, ignoring any facts that should wander into their "train wreck" of a miserable excuse for discourse. Your punctuation is improving, however spelling took a little hit this time. As for your "troubleshooting method", it only began to resemble such, when you finally produced some codes. However, if your numeric skills are anything like your spelling, punctuation & grammar as demonstrated, I fear,............all it lost! Your "Potty Mouth" is also getting better though!
