Default mods?????

hey i have been on the 97-03 side of this forum for a few years now and a week ago i bought a 95 ext.cab short box 4x4 with the 5.8v8 auto. at a auction sale and paid 275 bucks! runs good and i drove it 30 miles home. it had a howl to the rear diff so i pulled it last night and got another low mile diff from my local wreckers. so my plan after i throw that in this weekend is to do some fluid changes and throw some good sounding exhaust on it and see how it goes. so just wondering if theres any free or cheap mods for these trucks? or any tips you guys have would be great.

Do a search for the "sixliter tune up" and for any post by steve83. Look on his supermotors site for great info. This site is good but there are others that cater more to the 80-96 models. Don't forget the Bronco sites.

What are some of the sites that cater more to the early 90's trucks?

The first thing to do, in addition to the diff, is do error codes scans & deal w/ the active codes.
