Usually this one. Sometimes it's just a question of timing (Pun intended)! Occasionally, life rear's it's ugly head & we're not online. I've been in ICU for a friend w/ his wife for most of this week.

The first thing to do, in addition to the diff, is do error codes scans & deal w/ the active codes.

I was joking with you. As Ymeski said, sometimes we are occupied. A little bump will bring it back up to peoples attention, which you could have done without whining about how we aren't helpful. I didn't help because I'm more about fixing than modifying, sort of.

I believe one of the major issues with the 5.8 is the spark plugs. I am not sure about the year range, but they had 2 piece plugs that tend to freeze in the head and break at the joint. There are replacements available that have a longer metal slave to prevent breaking. Also the plug holes tend to have short treads in aluminum wich cause binding and thread failure. The later coil on plug models have been known to shoot plugs through the hood. Proper maintenance and anti-seize will help and there are heli-coil type kits to insert hardened seats for the plugs. Perhaps someone can verify the model years of this problem for me?
i have a 99 GT with a 4.6 and my plugs blew outta the heads on it. everywhere i researched said it was from ford rushing to put out the new PI heads and intake the heads only had about 1/4 turn of threads in them.
