Default lift problems

Im installing a rancho 4in lift and im having trouble getting the rivets out and the axle pivot bushings off the axle to replace them.
With the rivets i can get the heads off no problem but i cant punch the rest of it out. any ideas?
And with the axle pivot bushings im trying to replace them but i cant seem to press them out. what can i do about that?
Thanks

get a bigger hammer haha i torched my rivets out an air chisel might work. as for the axle pivot bushing mine came right off with a hammer but supposedly had just been replaced.

big hammer, bigger punch or try to drill through the rivet shanks, they'll punch out easier.

I'm gonna ask the obvious. Are you sure the heads are completely gone? Even a little bit of the head will make you want to slice your wrists. Also a mini sledge and a good sized punch are neccessary. A MAP torch was the tool that got me done for the rivets. Heat the metal AROUND the rivets. Don't bother with the cheapo air hammers from HF or anything. Lastly, if you can take the weight off whatever is riveted that will help. Obviously if you have room to get in there, drill them out. As far as the pivot bushings, that you can use the HF ball joint and accessory kit with an electric impact gun. Same thing with the MAP bottle. Make sure to clean everything before you put it back together. Good luck. Wait I just looked at your pic and you location. You're in ocean county? I've seen that grille and lights around. Let me know and I can make time to help if needed.
