id do it the other way around i can get parts for the new one easier then the older one. so i would beat on the new one and baby the old i take it easy on my truck so far just a few minor things went on it the clutch and slave sylender due to i learned how to drive stick in it and burned the hell out of the clutch bucked it so bad i smacked my head on the windshield and the thermostat housung was my bad i over tigthed it then rust as always sucks but that's getting fixed as soon as the patch panel gets here

besides the older it is the less there is to go wrong

The flasher works like a circuit breaker or thermal fuse. When enough amps hit the circuit long enough for the flasher to hit the right temperature it switches off then back on. The leds don't pull enough current. However there are some on the market with the resistor built in to the assembly.

Swapped my dome light for one of a newer model. I think the newest Bronc's and the 97-03's have this one. Problem is, I can never find the bulb number for it, different places say different things, so I havent been able to find a natural white, super bright, LED replacement festoon for the dome light.

I think my dad's truck has the same dome light, so next time I get a chance I'll compare bulbs then check his manual, then post it here, pic included so you can make sure yours is the same.
I'm looking for as bright as possible here... Haha
