My tach install write-up. Also covers everything you need to know about how to get to the lights.

Great write up, I didn't realize that the speedo part was separate. The only reason I didn't want to replace my cluster with one with a tach was because of the odometer, now I have another project to add to my list.

Some of my backlight bulbs are intermittent, so now I know what to do - and maybe I'll look for a tach, too - although I don't know what it connects to to sense revs, or does the ribbon harness take care of it?

The truck is already wired for it. You just need to plug in the cluster.

I wish I had the factory tach in my 300-6...there are no parts places with F150s around here...
