They do here. Every two years you need to go through emmissions to get your new tags. Kinda a bummer. I always here you guys talking about cutting out cats and mufflers and I am envious.

Anyway, my new 40 series sounds great but it is giving off an odor... I guess it needs to burn off some kind of factory coating or something.

 

I pity those of you that do have inspections. Another government invasion I don't need. I think I'll spend that $200 on groceries for my children instead of that new cat.

 

When I installed my longtubes I put a cat with a built-in h-pipe in and dual flowmaster knockoffs (don't remember which brand) and dumped under the bed...sounds perfect IMO. Throaty when I romp on it and pretty quiet around town. Still has that Flowmaster drone though.
