Well I just blew up my second 5.0 now I needa make a quick decision on Wat 2 put in it this time ... another 5.0 or a 5.8 or swap the 300 straight6 and all the wiring from my parts truck... Wat do u all think I should do ... I honestly cant make up my mind this time

300 its harder to blow up than the 5.0

Mine has Ben trough hell and back I've ran it low on oil where it sounded like a diesel (no choice dirt road and 35 miles from house) and it still runs with no problem. Scared me though but still runs like a beast

I mean 1 choice would have been shut it off and get more oil..

Had no choice no way to get oil. And no service where I was. Now I carry 2 quarts of oil I'm my tool box

I'd use what I have. If you have everything to swap in the 4.9 do it.

My only problem with using the 300 is that I'd havta swap all the wiring under the dash also because I dont have a obdII computer4 a 300 and cant find 1 either

then it's harder- do what's easiest. they're all good engines.
