I have an old 8 track player if you want to downgrade your radio too.

You hate EFI? It sounds as if you hate that which you don't understand.
Perhaps spending the money on upgrading to a MAF efi setup would better suit your needs. It might be cheaper too because swapping to a carb setup is not a simple task.

When you upgrade the cam, you have to change the vacuum hose that goes to the MAP sensor. If you truly have a mild cam this is a quick and permanent fix.

I did it on my first Mustang and it was a whole lot easier on paper than in real life! It's a PITA. Have to change everything! Wouldn't pass emissions, obviously, and I had to register it somewhere w/o the test! I think you are better off simply reading through this site and asking for help as you start to figure it out. I probably wouldn't do it again ...

I had a 82 f150 that was carbed and the FI runs so much better IMHO. It really depends upon your skill level I guess.

Sean, are you going to pull it out of your Pontiac and upgrade to a cassette player. I've got a box full of music I can send you.

I would respond with how much better carbs are but I'm still waiting for the pony express to deliver the message.
