12 - 2.73 non-limited slip (f150)

D1 — 3.27 limited slip (Explorer/Mountaineer)
D4 — 3.73 limited slip (Explorer/Mountaineer)

F6 — 3.73 limited slip (Ranger)
F7 — 4.10 limited slip (Ranger)
92 — 3.08 non-limited slip (Ranger)
R5 — 3.55 limited slip (Ranger)
91 — 3.27 non-limited slip (Ranger)
96 — 3.73 non-limited slip (Ranger)
R6 — 3.73 limited slip (Ranger)"

there are the codes, axle 19 is the most common and best for towing AND gas mileage.

if you tow alot it would be much better to have B6 (3.73 limited)

if you dont tow at all or tow small things, id suggest 12 or 18.

limited slip= both tires spin
non limited slip= 1 tire spins

Lol well non LS both tires do spin just one will spin one way and the other tire will spin the opposite direction. LS both tires will spin the same direction.
