Default computer friendly cams?

I was looking around at cams, and I noticed they have tons for my engine (351), but then I saw one "computer friendly" cam that was advertised to not trip up the computer.

I'm not too familiar with engine mods in general, and less so with this new vehicle, but do most cams mess up the computer? would the performance gains from a computer friendly cam even be worth the expense and trouble installing it? can you do anything to the computer to make it play nice with a more aggressive cam?

You have to select cams carefully for a map engine. Supposedly anyways. People put big cams in map engines all the time. Look at the comp 35-255-5

There are ways to work around the MAP, but I don't know them well.
