would it look bad if i plastidipped the gray part of my 2 tone, that way it would be gloss black with a matte black stripe.

I think it would look really incomplete. Matte black on gloss black looks like crap normally unless they're like stealth OTT stripes

usually people powdercoat the rims...not plasti-dip. b/c powdercoat is so much more durable. Am I understanding this correctly? How would you actually "dip" the center lines of your truck?

Plasti dip is just the name of the paint, it comes in a spray can and can be peeled off like rubber if you do 2 or less coats. More than 2 and it's really tough but still removable with some effort, and no issues to the paint under it

id keep the paint as is, the truck looks great. all its really missing is a nice grille guard or a lift........or both.
