Question code 67

anybody got any ideas on where i can start with ths one.

the book says ( haynes) neautraldrive switch open or ac on,, clutch switch circuit failure,, mlp sensor out of range or ac on ?????

and no the ac is not on

Then it means clutch switch circuit failure. That's the switch that keeps the engine from starting until you press in the clutch. If the switch still works then it isn't sending the signal to the computer that tells it the clutch is pressed in.

do you recomend changing the switch?? the truck still starts but takes a good solid push on the pedal

If it's not the switch then it's the wiring for the switch. I'd clear the codes and see if it comes back. It's not a code that will affect the way the truck runs, so you don't even have to fix it unless it really bothers you.

I don't pay anyone to fix my stuff, so I aquire the knowledge to fix whatever I have. I repair/remodel homes for a living, I do it all from floor to ceiling with some exceptions that I leave to others but still can do. I fix cars for fun and secondary income. Most Ford knowledge will transfer to other Fords, Chevy and Dodge as well.
