Cat question
Well. This is all irrelevant as mine does not have a sensor AFTER the cat lol if I remove the cat is that sensor going to cause the engine to run differently?? You said if I don't think I can handle the job not to do it. In this case what is the job: removing the cats or fooling the sensors??
These are the 2 sensors. One before the first cat and one after the first cat. Is there supposed to be one after the second one?? I'm sorry I'm making this more complicated than it is but I'm a perfectionist I prefer to know exactly what I'm dealing with before I screw with anything lol
I just don't feel quite up to the task of fighting with the sensors and screwing something up lol the second one seems to be unmonitored completely so it wouldn't notice if they were missing and that might make it a little louder if nothing else
Not all trucks have two cats, on some one is a resonator which is why the third oxygen sensor isn't behind it. The third sensor does not affect the way the truck runs, it only tells the computer if the cat is functioning properly.
