CAI system
If anybody is adding CAI to a MAP engine, don't act surprised when you see o2 sensor Always Lean error codes! Which is why many MAP engine owners do MAF conversions! For MAP's, a K&N drop in, is about the extent of it's safe increase in intake air range. Maybe more if you drop the word "safe". A good way to burn a hole in something (like a piston) especially w/ x2 Plat plugs. At least run stock Motorcraft copper cores if you do it, they're safer. They don't last as long, but if you have a hole in your piston, so what if your plugs "could" have gone another 50K before changing!

Cause they can lean out Stock engines, especially MAP's! That way you can't blame them when you burn a hole in your piston or burn up a valve, as you were not using for it's intended purpose "Racing!"). Map's work off a limited air intake range, based on manifold air density, not the actual amount of air flow through the air intake. Because the fuel adjusts to air but cannot further adjust above that range (by increasing fuel), you go lean. MAF, however, does monitor & adjust, based on actual air flow passing through the air intake. The ECU demands and maintains 14.68:1 air to fuel ratio to begin with and becomes over lean even by 15:1. Thats why w/ MAF & CAI it will keep adjusting Fuel to air til you run out of injector before you run lean & MAP's lean out long before that! Conversion kits are $700-1000. You can Boneyard the items from donor trucks for $100 - 200, but good luck w/ that!
I would have to respectfully direct you to K&N's website
