Exhaust piping would probably work pretty well on our trucks.

The piping im looking at at autozone is aluminum i think. If i put some high temp paint on it would it help keep the air colder or would it be a waste?

If anybody is adding CAI to a MAP engine, don't act surprised when you see o2 sensor Always Lean error codes! Which is why many MAP engine owners do MAF conversions! For MAP's, a K&N drop in, is about the extent of it's safe increase in intake air range. Maybe more if you drop the word "safe". A good way to burn a hole in something (like a piston) especially w/ x2 Plat plugs. At least run stock Motorcraft copper cores if you do it, they're safer. They don't last as long, but if you have a hole in your piston, so what if your plugs "could" have gone another 50K before changing!
