Default Brakes problem

Ok I know this has been discussed before , and when the ABS light is flashing and it wont shift out of park its usually a fuse. My ABS light is flashing , it wont shift out of park , and there is no pressure to the peddal hardly at all, I know pressure to the peddal couldnt be caused from the fuse , I put a master cylinder on it so far , plan on checking the fuse tonight , can you guys think of anything else it could be besides the obvious.... hoses , wheel cylinders ect....

Ok checked this morning , blown ABS fuse , replaced it, ABS light gone now , shifts into gear. Still no pressure at the peddal though , installed a new master cylinder , no leaking hoses or lines , no leaking wheel cylinders. Someone give me some input here lol what do you think? The ABS hydraulic unit?

Did you bleed them? (I know seems silly question) then did you bleed them properly. Starting at the farthest wheel from master cyl. Wonder what popped the fuse?

Anyone know if the computer would need to be reset? I don't think so.
But my EX used to say "wrong is your middle name" ....

Unless it leaks a faulty abs will not cause no brake pressure, it will not activate the abs if faulty. If you did not bleed all the air out of the system it will cause no brake pressure. Also if the brake switch is bad the abs light will blink and you cannot shift from park.

Hopefully you bench bled the master cylinder before installing it. Then bleed the brakes.

So it sounds like you have the ABS light problem fixed. Since the pressure issue still exists, it is not related. Therefore, you should look at your system from the cylinder to the pedal. If the master was replaced and the line has no leaks, then you need to re-bleed the brakes. If you still have no pressure, it could be the master cylinder is faulty. It is possible.
