Default Advice needed

I am in need of a 4x4 truck. I have my 95 5.0 2x4 with 75k mi that I can sell and I found another 95sc 4x4 5.8 but has 140k mi. The 4x4 is settling for 3k and looks to be in pretty good shape. Will take any advice. Thank you in advance

You could convert yours to four wheel drive. You just need the parts.

I would rather do that except I don't have the capabilities to do that level of work and at about 4k in parts and labor I'm not sure if it is cost effective.

+1 I was thinking of doing a 4wd conversion on mine but I'm probably going to do custom beams and radius arms. If I didn't have that planned, I would do the conversion. Doesn't seem too hard. You could pull from a junkyard.

Edit. You replied right as I posted.

Around here you could get the parts for $700 tops. Could find a beater donor truck for the parts. But the labor, if you can't do it yourself you'd have to find a decent backyard mechanic to be cost effective.

That would be ideal. I definitely do not want to get rid of my truck. For now maybe just a leveling while I save up and buy parts as I go. How can I tell if my truck is obd1 or obd2?
