Some say they've upgraded, but I couldn't readily find anywhere to get the files? Anyone else?

Ford has definitely drug their feet and screwed this up. From the initial "it will be a free software upgrade available in Summer of 16" to "oh now you have to buy a hardware piece too" to "it wont be available until late 2016". And now they want people to wait LONGER? WTF Ford, there are a lot of auto manufacturers who have figured this out already and you are behind the curve on this.

I just finished upgrading using the link above on my non nav unit using the two step method that is required. it worked great. For those having issues with android auto not coming up when plugging in their phone, try a different USB cable. I went through three different usb cables and finally found that works. ON another note, I had originally downloaded the software from a different site (ivsu.binaries.ford.com) and even though it said it was for the non nav it wouldn't work, didn't have the readme etc. the link above DID work for my non nav.

so I ordered the part, GJ7Z-19A387-B from Tasca. When i open the box the usb has a different part number. Its showing part number GJ7T-14F014-AC

Is this wrong?

It's not wrong, go swap the part, you good to go. For some strange reason the labels on the parts don't match the label on the box.

Can`t wait for someone to do a video of the procedure for the downloading of the file, uploading the file to Sync via the USB hub, and also showing the before and after features/function of Sync 3 in their own F150.

Some people are saying all works well afterwards and some are having issues afterwards.

I think think by doing this, it would ease much of the anxiety/doubts that many people such as myself are having about doing this upgrade.
