is this right? or did someone pull a switch on Tasca and return their old part?

It's right for some reason the internal part number on the sticker does not match the ordered/outside the box part number. Swap it out, you're good to go.

I order/received/just installed the exact same part (also from Tasca) and Android Auto won't run with this new hub. AA starts up when I plug my phone in but returns back to Sync after a few seconds. I put the original hub back in to make sure I wasn't losing my mind and it works fine.

I swapped them back and forth several times to make sure it wasn't a fluke and the problem was consistent with the new hub. Has anyone also used this exact part? If so what results have you had?

I wanted this hub so that other people could use CarPlay when driving my truck but if AA won't work with it then it's a non-starter.

i have the XLT so my hub LEDs are neither covered by a console cover nor have white interior lights shining on them. They are very obviously blue at night with my non CP hub today.
I just got a email saying they canceled my order for the Lincoln part # due to national backorder

For all us that were waiting for the update from Ford, I just read another post that said Ford will out meet their anticipated release date of the end of the year, so it looks like either update off the boot leg copy or just continue to wait.

Well, I ordered from Tasca Sunday, got it today. Installed the update while driving to Harbor Freight to pickup the tools. Update went perfect, tools made the swap a 2 minute job.

Everything works great! I had navigation and no issues so far. Thank you to all that contributed.

Thanks. I'll swap out the hub again and get an iPhone to test CP with. That hub (at least the one I got) definitely was not playing nice with AA. :-|
