Default Gauge Cluster

How do you remove a gauge cluster in a 1991 F150? I'm trying to get it out and I took out seemingly all the screws and it just won't come out! I'm wanting to replace the bulbs with Blue LEDS because the bulbs are slowly burning out or there's a short one. Also, what kind of bulbs would I need? I've read I would need 5 194 style bulbs. And are the LED bulbs plug and play?
Detailed instructions appreciated!

Did mine not to long ago , they take 5 led bulbs that can plug into the stock 194 I drive a 89 so I am sure it's the same removal . I will provide a more in-dept removal tomorrow

1. Remove light and whipper blade ****

2. Pop off top trim , pop off bottom trim (remove screws for bottom trim before removing )

3. Un screw the screws around the cluster (4)

4. Pull out the cluster enough to pop off the speedometer cable to back of cluster / in clip electrical cables .

Done

You will see where the bulbs go when you get it out. No harder than changing any other bulb, twist and pull. It will be easier to unscrew the cable from the transmission first so you get more slack. Then you push some tab or something at the cluster, been a while since I took mine out.

I'm thinking about tackling this tomorrow but I'm afraid I won't be able to do it haha and I'm scared I'll get frustrated and break something

Headlight **** can be a pain. You have to push the release button on the side of the switch behind the dash.

Is it the same setup on a 92? If so, I took it off right at the ****...not behind the dash. There's a slot in the shaft of the **** itself. If you look closely, you'll see a the edge of a metal clip. I have a pick/hook tool set (looks like small screwdrivers) and they worked beautifully. Just stick the tip of a small pick or screwdriver in the slot and gently pull back toward you. The clip will flex and release from the metal shaft. Just be easy with it. I broke mine. $30 for a new one at the dealer...or napa has a cheap one for $16, if you want to buy an annoying piece of useless garbage.
