I know how to put the forks on. Just i think they might be in the wrong spot. I had to remove all the rails to get the center one out. I have the 1-2 butted up to3-4 but i wasnt able to put it into any gear with the top cover off the truck. i am stuck

Must be in wrong spot if you cant get into gear. Do you have a pics of the forks location? It has to be
In nuetral before you put the top cover on tranny!

No pictures right now i left it at work. i was trying to match them looking though the top and lining them up that i dunno if that was right or not..

Here is a top view of the shift forks 1/2 and 3/4 without the other piece it rest
Up agained! Are yours close to the same postion?

I haven't had mine that far apart. I pulled the top cover and built up the 1-2 fork with weld, twice. It was free.
