My 95 F150, 5.0 5spd is doing the same. If the truck is running, it is hell putting into gear, while rolling, it is fine. I've bled the slave cylinder, previous owner said clutch was installed 3 months earlier. No clunks or grinding while going into gear. What should be my next step?

Check the shift forks inside the transmission . There is a plate under the carpet that has to be removed to take the plate off the top of the transmission to inspect the shift forks inside the transmission .

I changed the fluid again and added some Lucas transmission additive ....the problem seemed to get better off a short time. Now, it seems like it is back. Any thoughts?

What am I looking for while inspecting the shift forks? What do bad forks vs ok vs bad forks look like? Thanks in advance!

First put The truck into neutral and pull the shift boot up and then pull the carpet back and remove the carpet the floor board plate . Then you will see the top of the transmission cover . With the transmission being in neutral remove the top cover and inspect the shift forkes . Here is what a worn out shift fork lookes like !
