I was thinking about putting 2" spacers on my truck on front and back. Just want your imput on it? what do yall think? Are they Safe?

 

been on my truck since new 5 years now...not one problem..$80 for the spacer ...$200 for install and alignment...why would they not be safe ??

 

Do you be to get a front end alignment after putting wheel spacers on?

when I worked at discount tire they wouldn't work on vehicle's with spacers and when we had to we had to be extra careful when torqueing

 

he's not talking about wheel spacer's....

 

I ran a daystar brand spacer kit in the front of my last truck. They were ureathane spacers and , would soften in hot weather and cause a rattling noise , in hot weather, like the front springs were loose. I would suggest either the moog f250 springs , or if your shocks are worn upgrading to a low end lift kit like a rough country.If you add up the cost of a set of six shocks , a body lift and a level kit it is almost even with a suspension lift with shocks.
