Go with 6,000 K. They are not the bluest, but they are the best for performance. I had 10,000 K and couldn't see a damn thing and went to 6,000 K and wow they are awesome.

I have used RetroSolutions for years. Good product and warranty. 4300's are the brightest and match OEM. I run 5K's. The higher the number the more blue you get, until you hit purple. 5-6K is your best bet. Keep them out of your fog lights...they will scatter light like crazy and tick everybody off.

Default Question for HID owners?

This is for those with the PNP type not projectors.

After your install; did you find the reported problems of light scatter and the issue of blinding oncoming drivers not to be a real issue?

Or did you just not care as long as you could see?

I've used retro solutions as well on multiple vehicles and have never had a problem with them. I have bought the "economy" kits before and when a problem arises they are nowhere to be found. I had a ballast go out at one point called them up and 2 days later I had a whole new kit at my doorsteps.

You will get what you pay for! Choose a company with a proven track record and a warranty. $150.00 is not a lot of money for a quality product that offers a lifetime warranty on the bulbs and ballasts. High beams are retained as well with the Retro lights...and they are HID.

I have had one person flip their lights at me since mine have been installed....about 6 months. That happened with a 800 lb. motorcycle in the bed. There is actually a pretty good cutoff achieved with the factory headlight housing since the bulb has a shield. I can shine my lights up against the garage wall with my wife's factory HID's next to me. Hers are flatter across the top, but not by that much. The fog lights are a different animal. I installed them and had everybody ticked off. The bulb is not shielded at all in the fog light housing as it is in the headlight. They are still in there, but I only turn them on if no one is around.
