Yeah I see now, I think I read to fast when I read through Tasca's thread. When I was originally shopping for a new truck, I wanted a SD 350 but in the end couldn't justify it's use...the don't make a one ton truck big enough to tow my boat and all I tow are lobster traps...F150 suited my needs best. My next quest is to SD the F150 out. Tow mirrors and cab lights, smoked of course, and an AAL lift in the rear.

I'm looking forward to see the AAL in the rear man. That's the setup I'm planning for my truck come spring time (along with new rims and tires). I like lift, but it's impractical for me to do it huge.

A lift is cool, but very impractical for a work truck. It's hard enough stacking 25 40lb traps in the bed after you just stacked over 100 on the trailer...and I have 800 traps. I can't imagine having to throw them even higher with say a 6" lift, not even adding in bigger tires. The AAL will come within a month. I need to install my HIDs from Jon To for the headlights and fogs then wiring in 4 more HIDs for the offroad lights. So lets see...I just wired 2 reverse lights and 4 off road lights and now have to wire 8 more lights in...I'm sick of wiring just thinking about it. 8 ballasts....hope I can find some good spots for them all...stay tuned.

Ha ha. Good luck finding a spot for all those ballasts. I imagine it'll be tough keeping it so it doesn't look too cluttered. Have you scoped out any potential spots yet?

Ya I still want to put cab lights on my truck, will have to wait for at least a year though, when I get my leave illl work on my truck. But ya either go with the 150 ones or look into seeing how to get the SD ones for your truck with powerfold. I wish I looked into that more

Thinking more about the mirrors, I don't want power fold now even if it was offered. I live on an island so you have to take a big car ferry to get off....it's tight space inside when they're loading cars and they always fold your mirrors in and out for you....I could see that being a problem.
