Hey Tuna quick question man. Whats those size of those tires and rims? Also what gears do you have now, and if so what did you have before? Just getting ideas on what sizes it's best to re-gear for new tires and rims ya know.

33x12.5 R20 with 3.73 gears from the factory. You don't need to regear for 33"s though.

Wow... I just read all 66 pages and looked at all your mods. I have to say I am very impressed. Your truck looks awesome and I love all the work you've done. You really come up with some cool stuff. The pole holders are really sweet. (I am now gonna make some for my dad's truck like that - we do lots of salt water fishing). Also, Almost all of the roads you've been down mod wise, I've been down. Not so much the HID blue lights, but lights none the less. Also, the badge and light blackouts and some suspension work. I went the other way though. All your work is clean and admirable. Keep up the awesome work and keep posting pictures.
Do you have a Cardomain? You should make one because you could do really good with that. People love trucks and their stories with pictures.
Also, I wanted to ask how your taillights do during the day being blacked out that much. Mine have a pattern painted over them (we call it a carbon fiber mock up) but they aren't as dark as yours.

Props brother! I'm sure you've inspired many of jobs and DIY projects. You show how to do it the right way. You're pretty damn good with a wrench and that's a great skill to have.

Here are some pics of what I've done...

T-man-He-man?

Are those your factory wheels painted with the insert black? That looks pretty cool and wouldn't be a bad idea for me to do with my set I have sitting in the garage...

I've been wanting to put winter tires on my spare rims, but didn't want to have my ugly factory wheels on.... lol

Those sure are factory rims. I didn't mask a thing either. I washed the rims like a maniac for 30 minutes. Then I washed them again with a scuff solution and a scotch bright. Then I mixed up some black basecoat and painted the whole facea. I waited for it to dry up and got some clean rags and paint thinner. Then carefully wiped off the black paint on the spots where I didn't want paint. That's right, I didn't mask a thing. It wiped right off and came perfectly clean. Then I cleared them all with that pattern left underneath. They are awesome looking and don't look stock at all. I think it's better than just spraying it all black. I used automotive grade paint.

Oh and as for the insert, I scuffed them down and painted them all black except for the Ford emblems in the centers. I used an airbrush and feathered the edges so you can still see a tiny bit of blue and the part where it says Ford.

I make a motion: Though shalt not ask the Tuna a question already covered in his thread. It's blasphemy to not read it from beginning to end!
