Just ordered the AAL. Was doing a little more research and decided to go with Autospring. Hopefully it'll be here by the weekend!

Default AAL...

Have you thought about the firestone airbag route instead of the AAL? I tow a car trailer every now and then and the rear end drags...not bad though but enough for me not to like it. Haven't done much research on em' but it looks like there about $230.00+ and then the cost of the compressor if you want OBA. Just thinking the AAL would harshen the ride a little to much. However, then there's the HELLWIG AAL.

The posts I read on the AAL from Autospring said the ride wasn't bad at all, just felt tighter in a good way. Payload cap. increases 950lbs too.

Could you please post the parts used for your light bar, off road lights and HIDs. I want to get a similar bar with 55watt 5000k HIDs in off road lights as well as 55watt 5000k HIDs in my fog light but keep my silverstars in my headlights for my wig wags. unless anyone knows of a way to switch to HIDs and keep wig wags.

The light bar is a Smittybilt Street Bar I ordered from TopGunCustomz. The offroad lights are Hella Black Magic 500s. I ordered 55watt 5000K H3C HIDs from HIDDirect for the Hella lights. Steve over there was more than helpful...he actually had to special order them for me but literally emailed me daily with updates, almost as if I was his sole customer. Can't say enough good things about him. Make sure you get the H3C bulbs and not H3...the H3Cs are much shorter than the regular ones and are the only ones that will fit in the Hella's slim profile.

I ordered my HID headlights and fogs from Jon To here in the vendor section. 35watt 5000K HIDs Hi/Lows size H13. Wig wags will kill HIDs so don't even try it. Keep the Silverstars. You could, however, just wire the wigwags into the driving lights instead of the headlights...wouldn't be as bright but still functional and you could add HID headlights. Or you could remove the wigwags all together and put some strobes behind the grill.

Finally got around to installing the HIDs for the headlights and fogs from Jon To. Piece of cake, cranked up first try. 5000K temp, they look great and are stupidly bright...150% improvement over stock. Here's some pics of where I mounted the ballasts and relay....I didn't want to see them anywhere in the engine bay.

Headlight ballasts. Drilled out the mounting bracket so I could use a bolt that was conveniently right next to the headlight housing. Did this for both sides.

You can see how the ballast fits perfectly when the headlight housing is reinstalled.

Relay hidden by the shroud. I mounted the relay using a bolt I'm using for a relay for the off road lights, which is located on the other side of the support member. Also grounded it to the bolt.

Ballast for the fogs were mounted using a bolt from a bracket for the bumper. It's nice and hidden/tucked away.

Headlight reinstalled. Nice and neat.

HID vs. Stock...crappy pics sorry

Some more crappy pics. I'll have to take some pics at dusk tomorrow before it's really dark out. Despite the pics, the headlights and fogs match perfectly when you look at the headlights dead on. I've ordered a 5000K temp 36-LED bulbs for the driving lights so everything will be 5000K.

Low beams/fogs (unadjusted)
