i could’ve gone a little wider or taller with a 2 inch level…not sure the 305/70’s would fit, would be close
Geez Larry, I can't believe your memory!!
Yes, i had +20 wheels with 305/70/17 Toyo ATIII, they fit perfectly, those tires are 33.9" tall. On that same set of wheels, I ran BFG KO2's at 315/70/17, with no problems either, but thought I'd like just a little more clearance. My level is just under 3", so there is that too.
FWIW, right now I have Raptor OEM wheels at +34 offset, with 315/70/17 Falken AT4W's, 34.7", and no problem with that set up either.

Sheesh, that was chocolatey!

Oh well, i guess there is an argument for taking off the cover, allowing you to clean out gunky oil - though hopefully if there is a drain plug, you can drain more often and keep it cleaner - if it comes out gunky again, you could remove the cover at that point.

I do when it comes to other dude's trucks or bicycles. I can't tell you how many of my buddy's are in my phone by what mountain bike they ride. Hahaha.

I spent some money last night to build out the rest of my bed storage I have been talking about for a couple of years now. Looking forward to it. Hope to start working on the base plates this weekend along with a couple of other changes to the cap. I also need to rebuild my mountain bike. Here is a before picture.

Current state.

As you can see, I already tried stripping the paint on the rear triangle. That was a can and a half of Home Depot paint stripper. And I couldn't even get the welds and little bits very good. So I found a local blaster. Gonna have the frame blasted to raw aluminum and then just clear coat it. Got a new fork, shock, and drivetrain coming for it. Then I am ready to ride. Stoked for the first trip to NC in a couple of weeks.

Gonna build out my own xtrusion offroad style bed rack under the cap. The plan right now is to have a couple of Rotopax water containers on one side. Move up the on board compressor for the airbags up to get it away from gear in the bed. Mount a Milwaukee packout with my tools and molle panels for additional gear. Also want to add a Rotopax storage container for easily accessible bungees and straps that are buried in the bottom of the undercover swingbox at the moment. That's the high points.

Got a picture from the blaster. Frame is done. Now I just need to wait for the rest of the supplies to finish up the rebuild.

Added some more BuiltRight storage in the truck. Seat back panel and panel on center console lid.

I also built myself a toolkit using a Rotopax storage container, a UTV tool roll kit, and a bunch of Husky tools. This will be mounted on my undercap storage. The material for that is to be delivered tomorrow.

Also working on planning a cross country roadtrip this summer. PA --> The Badlands --> Yellowstone --> Sandbridge, ID --> Bellingham, WA --> Whistler, BC, Canada --> Banff, Canada --> PA. It's going to the trip of a lifetime.

Not much else on the truck to share. I did get all the material for the extrusion rack in the bed delivered, but won't have time to play with that until after Easter. I did get the bike all built back up. With the exception of the bottom bracket and cranks. Waiting on one tool from Amazon.
