So. I’ve been terribly lazy lately. I’ve had my 5100s for a month. Just got around to swapping the coils and hardware over. I got lucky and had a set of takeoff coils/struts from a buddy who lowered his S/C 2019 Coyote, so this afforded me the opportunity to assemble the shocks without touching the truck. These 5100s came apart easier than my Tacoma ones did. I also had a mishap and dented the **** out of my bedside. So instead of buying tires or something else cool I get to fix the dent.
Installed the Bilsteins today. Pretty easy. I set them at the 1.25” setting. With the setting and my rear block removed the truck sits pretty dead level. I love how the shocks firmed up the ride compared to the stock shocks. The stock F-150 shocks are terrible. I couldn’t believe how light/cheap the rears were. Now to get tires. I think I’m going to end up with 285/65r18 Toyo AT3s.

It doesn’t look like much but it was enough to make the truck sit level and ride better so I’m stoked.
Ok. So I redid the 5100s and put the rear block back in.
Today I got my new tires installed today. I went with 305/60r18 Rodge grapplers. I like the way it looks. The tires are quieter than I anticipated (even though they are new I figured they would produce more noise)
I ordered new emblems for it as well. I got the factory black fender badges and some painted ones that look like this:
All in all it’s coming together.
I still want to do the audio system and add a Raptor steering wheel. All in due time though.
