So. I got tired of my stupid little slidey do-hickey not being able to close when my USB cord was plugged into the USB port. I figured drilling holes in a brand new truck would be fun.
So I drilled a hole inside the USB compartment and in the top corner of the center console compartment. Then I snaked a USB cord through them and my slidey door closes. I know a bunch of people probably have done this before, it just cleans up the cord management on the interior. I also did this on my wife’s new Grand Cherokee.
It absolutely drives me nuts I can't close that usb compartment. I have wanted to do the exact same thing I'm just scared to drill into it. Looks pretty clean though.

Yes, I felt the same way. It's not to scary. Not near as bad as using a 5" holesaw on a new $70,000 boat to put new speakers in lol

I feel the same way. Had no problem at all cutting up the '05 tacoma, but being brand new makes me so hesitant. I know its just a matter of time until I send it, so might as well do it now right?

Just do it! First cut is the deepest! Drilling small holes in this is nothing.
So nothing to spectacular here lately but I did manage to pick up weather tech mats, a husky bed mat and a Gator soft roll up tonneau cover.
And gave her a bath this morning before the giant fireball rose up and tried to cook me.
Lastly, has anyone run 305/60r18s on their truck? I am thinking of getting a set of Ridge Grapplers in that size. They are like 1/2” shorter but 12.25” wide. I really like the weight of that tote size and think they will go good with 5100s set at .85” up front.
